Pinned Article Remote Labs

In order to facilitate remote learning, we have created two solutions for computer labs. We are using a cloud desktop through Microsoft Azure called Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) to handle most of our standard lab work, and one for more specialized software.

Wildcat Lab (Azure Virtual Desktop)

Wildcat Lab (Windows Virtual Desktop or WVD) is a cloud service we are leveraging in place of most of our on campus lab machines. The computer that you log into has the vast majority of programs that you would find in our on campus labs, and you can log in either through a remote desktop connection or through your web browser.

Goprint Lab Printing

This document shows how to print to a lab printer from either a lab workstation or from your personal laptop with the GoPrint Client.

Jaguar (for ECC students)

Over the summer our Linux server jaguar was renamed and got a new IP address.  It is now ecc-linux.csuchico.edu.  If you log into ecc-linux you will not have any errors.
