Depending on your hardware and the version of iOS you are using, your setup process may look slightly different. We recommend installing all available system updates before you continue.
If you receive an "Unable to Connect" or similar error, please visit our office in Meriam Library 142. You may have an expired password, locked account, or affiliation issues that prevent a successful connection to the wireless network.
Continuous connection attempts could lock your Chico State account.
Remove or Forget Eduroam
Before setting up Eduroam, remove any previous Eduroam connection from your device. This ensures you start with a clean connection and avoid common sign-in issues.
- Go to the Settings app on your device and select Wi-Fi.
- Click the information icon next to eduroam.

- On the information page, click Forget This Network and Forget again to confirm.

Set Up Eduroam
Before setting up Eduroam, remove any previous Eduroam connection from your device. This ensures you start with a clean connection and avoid common sign-in issues.
- Go to the Settings app on your device and select Wi-Fi.
- Click eduroam.
- When prompted, enter your Chico State email address and password. Do not enter just your username; the full email address is required.

- Click Join, then Trust on the certificate menu.
