The classic Microsoft OneDrive LTI in Canvas was retired on September 17, 2026, so its integration and existing content links no longer work. Chico State has not enabled the replacement Microsoft 365 LTI, so instructors and students must use file uploads or standard OneDrive sharing links instead.

At Chico State, Canvas Personal Access Tokens are managed by Learning Technology Services to comply with university data security policies. To request a token, contact LTS with a documented use case for review and approval.

Account creation is automated based on a user's affiliations and enrollments, with course access being strictly regulated, and provisions made for special circumstances such as course cross-listing, instructor reassignment, and course extensions.
