Add Collaborators to a New Video

1. Access My Media through your Canvas home page

2. Click the blue Add New button and Media Upload from the dropdown menu

3. On the next screen, click Choose a file to upload and search your computer for the file you would like to upload.

4. After selecting your media, scroll down the Upload Media page until you find the Add Collaborator button.

5. Type the user’s Chico State ID into the field.

6. Make sure the checkboxes for Co-Editor, Co-Publisher, and Co-Viewer are selected.

7. Click Add.

Adding a collaborator to an existing Kaltura video

1. If your video has already been uploaded to My Media, begin by accessing your My Media through your Canvas home page

2. Click the pencil Edit icon next to the video you’d like to add a collaborator to

3. Scroll down to find the Media Collaborators section and click the Add Collaborator button

4. Type the user’s Chico State ID into the field [1].

5. Make sure the checkboxes for Co-Editor, Co-Publisher, and Co-Viewer are selected [2].

6. Click Add [3].
