Step-by-Step Instructions
To edit your media settings, including video details and collaboration options, follow these steps:
- Navigate to media.csuchico.edu and log in with your credentials OR from Canvas global navigation, select My Media.
- Locate the video you wish to edit and select the Edit (pencil) icon adjacent to it. This action will direct you to the Edit area.
- In the Edit area, you can preview the video and access different tabs to edit various settings:
- Details: Select the Details tab to modify the video title, description, and tags.
- Options: Select the Options tab to manage video clip creation and comment settings.
- Collaboration: Use the Collaboration tab to adjust ownership or collaboration permissions.
- Thumbnails: The Thumbnails tab allows you to set or change the video's thumbnail image.
- Download: Click the Download tab to configure available download formats.
- Captions: Access the Captions tab to manage captions, including editing, requesting, or uploading new ones.
- Timeline: Use the Timeline tab to add chapter markers to your video.
Troubleshooting
