Duo Push Notifications

Never approve a Duo Push that you did not request. Only approve if you are actively signing in.

Duo Push is the easiest and quickest way of authenticating. You'll get a login request sent to your phone. Just press Approve to authenticate.

If you get a login request that you weren't expecting, press Deny to reject the request. You’ll be given the ability to report it as fraudulent, or you can tap It was a mistake to deny the request without reporting it. If you receive prompts you did not request, it is recommended to change your password immediately.

Duo Passcode

Duo Mobile offers additional offline functionality for users who do not have cellular or Wi-Fi on their phones. The Duo Mobile app allows users to generate a passcode to enter for verifying their sign-in. This is highly recommended for those who are traveling internationally.

Never share your Duo passcode with anyone. Chico State will never request this code.

To generate a passcode, open the Duo Mobile app and select the Chico State option. When it expands, it should display a six-digit passcode. Enter this code to complete your sign-in.

Press the button on your Duo Token, then enter the six-digit code and click Verify
