Starting Your Zoom Meeting

There are numerous places from which you can start your Zoom meeting, depending on your preferred method.

From the Chico State Zoom portal, select Meetings and Start your Meeting.
From the Zoom Desktop application which is automatically installed on all state-owned machines. For personal devices, see the zoom download center.
From Outlook open your meeting link. Select Sign in as Host if prompted.
Faculty can also start a meeting from Canvas. See Using the Zoom integration within Canvas.

Important: Always make sure you sign in to Zoom Using SSO. Using SSO to sign in ensures you are starting the meeting with your full privileges (host, record, etc).
