Duo Mobile for Phones
Find the latest version of Duo Mobile in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
Duo Push Notifications
Duo Push is the easiest and quickest way of authenticating. You'll get a login request sent to your phone — just press Approve to authenticate.
If you get a login request that you weren't expecting, press Deny to reject the request. Never approve a request that you didn't sign in to receive. You’ll be given the ability to report it as fraudulent, or you can tap It was a mistake to deny the request without reporting it. If you receive prompts you did not request, it is recommended to change your password immediately.
Duo Passcode
Duo Mobile offers additional offline functionality for users who do not have cellular or Wi-Fi on their phones. The Duo Mobile app allows users to generate a passcode to enter for verifying their sign-in. This is highly recommended for those who are traveling internationally.
To generate a passcode, open the Duo Mobile app, and select the Chico State option. When it expands, it should display a six-digit passcode. Enter this code to complete your sign-in.
Hardware Tokens
To request hardware tokens, visit IT Support Services in Meriam Library 142, or put in a ticket here: https://support.csuchico.edu/TDClient/1984/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=24788
To enter a Duo Token passcode select the Token passcode button after clicking Other Options.
Press the button on your Duo Token, then enter the six-digit code and click Verify. Never give out your Duo passcode to anyone; Chico State will never request it from you.
