Connecting on a PC

There are two primary methods of adding/connecting to a Ray Morgan MFP on a PC:

Connecting through Software Center

  1. In the bottom left search bar next to the windows button type in "Software Center" and select the software center app icon when it appears. Software Center should open after a moment.
  2. In the search bar type "mfp-printer" then hit enter or click the magnifying glass icon.mfp-printer search in Software Center
  3. The list of Ray Morgan MFPs that are available to you based on which building you are in should appear. Select the printer that you want to add and click "Install".
  4. Note: If the printer you want to add does not appear then it may not be a Ray Morgan MFP and you may need to refer to the instructions to add a non-Ray Morgan Printer. If you are trying to print to an MFP in a different building than you please submit a ticket to print support so that we can make that printer available to you.The printer should begin to install. This process can take around a minute. Once it has finished it may also take up to a minute for the printer to appear in your printer list as it initializes.

Connecting through Network Share

  2. Click the "+" symbol to add a printer
  3. Search for the Copier that you want to add (i.e.. search the department name like ITSS)
  4. Once you have found it, highlight it, and then in the drop-down menu choose "Select Printer Software"
  5. Find the name of your printer in the list and highlight it. Ensure to select the model name of the printer for the drivers (i.e Canon iR3225).
  6. Click Add
  7. The MFP-Printer you installed should now appear in your Print & Fax (Scan)

Reboot the Computer:

It may only take logging off and logging back on again, but a full reboot won't hurt.  The uniFlow client receives the username at the time of login, after the client is installed, a login event must occur before printing.

Print to your MFP printer

  1. Select Print from the file menu
  2. Select your MFP-Printer and then Print.
  3. If a credential dialogue box opens, make sure the username is in the format: "jdoe", not the default of "Doe, John".  If you use the default "Doe, John"-style username, uniFlow WILL NOT WORK.
  4. You will see a popup window that shows your accounts. Select the account you wish to use.
