How Do I Join a Zoom Meeting from the Mobile Ap?

Tip: Sign in to the Zoom Mobile App Before Joining the Meeting

1. Select Sign in on the mobile app.

2. Do not enter your email. You may be able to get into the meeting but will not actually be logged in using your Chico State portal account, which could impact features such as breakout rooms, etc. Always select Single Sign On (SSO). 

3. Enter csuchico as the domain csuchico.zoom.us is the domain. 

4. Enter your Portal ID and Password. 

Join the Meeting

1. Open the Zoom app and make sure you're signed in.

2. Select "Join Meeting"

3. Enter the Zoom Meeting ID

4. Select "Join"

5. Enter the passcode

To Locate the Numeric Meeting Passcode 

Because you are using mobile, you will need to know the meeting passcode in advance. 

• If you open the meeting invite from an email, you should just be able to click the link to launch the meeting since the passcode is encrypted in the link.

• If this Zoom meeting is for a Blackboard class, you can ask your instructor for the passcode or see if it is posted in Blackboard.
