This guide will show you how to access, review, and edit the audio transcript of a Zoom meeting recorded to the cloud using your Chico Zoom Portal. This process allows you to ensure the accuracy of your meeting transcripts for better accessibility and record-keeping.

Prerequisites

  • A cloud-recorded Zoom meeting.

Step-by-Step Instructions

To access and edit audio transcriptions, do the following:

  1. Navigate to your Zoom recordings at csuchico.zoom.us/recording, or log in to Zoom at csuchico.zoom.us and select Recordings from the column on the left.
  2. Select Cloud Recordings.
  3. Select the meeting you want to access.
  4. Select the play button to play the video.
  5. The transcript will display to the right of the video player. From here, you can review the video and edit the captions individually.

Troubleshooting

  • If you do not see the transcript, ensure that you have waited enough time for the transcription process to complete. This can take longer than the video upload.
  • If you encounter issues with accessing your recordings or transcripts, check your permissions and ensure you are logged into the correct Chico Zoom Portal account.
