Meet Captioning Requirements

All videos must be captioned before they are published on a Chico State website.

Submit a Captioning Support Service ticket to request captioning or corrections. Captioning is completed by Technology Equity and Inclusion.

Get Your Kaltura Video Embed Code

1. Upload your video to Kaltura and submit a captioning request.
2. Wait until captioning is complete before continuing.
3. Open your video in Kaltura.
4. Select the Share tab below the video.
5. Select Embed and copy the embed code.

If you do not see the embed option, confirm that you are logged in to Kaltura.

Add a Video in Cascade 3.0

1. Navigate to the webpage where you want to add the video.
2. Select Edit.
3. Place your cursor where the video should appear.
4. Select the Video icon.
5. Select the Embed tab.
6. Paste the embed code into the text box.

Add a Video in Cascade 4.0

1. Complete the Get Your Kaltura Video Embed Code steps.
2. Navigate to the webpage where you want to add the video.
3. Add a Video Embed component.
4. Enter the video title.
5. Paste the embed code into the appropriate field.
