Basic Troubleshooting:

Check that you already have a connection to the Internet.

If you are on campus, check that you are connected to the eduroam WiFi network.

GlobalProtect will NOT work while connected to the csuchico WiFi network.

Generate a log file:

A log file contains a record of various system settings and properties, along with a log of connection attempts. During the process of troubleshooting, you may be asked by the ITSS Support Staff to generate a log file for more advanced issues.

To generate a log file
1. Click the small Globe icon in the system menu at the top of the screen.
2. Select the 3 horizontal bars in the top right of the GlobalProtect window.
3. From the new menu, select "Settings".
4. Under GlobalProtect Settings, select the "Troubleshooting" tab.
5. Click the button for "Collect Logs" on the right.
6. After the process completes, select "Open Folder" on the right.

The file "GlobalProtectLogs.tgz" should be highlighted, this is the file you will need to provide for additional assistance.
