Google Workspace for Education provides access to Google’s online services allowing you to take advantage of Google’s productivity collaboration tools. Google's apps can work through your browser and generally do not require software installation. These services are provided by Google and access is governed by the campus’s electronic resources use policy.
Who is Eligible?
Google Workspace for Education is available to all current faculty, staff, and students. Faculty who wish to use Google services in their teaching are encouraged to contact the Technology & Learning Program to meet with an Instructional Technology Consultant who can provide advice on how to implement these services for instruction. You can also put in a request a course design consultation.
Note that Google access will be lost when you leave the university. Faculty and staff lose this access upon their contractual end date. Students lose access within two years of graduation. For moving files out of your Chico State Google account, please follow the instructions on our Knowledge Base: Using Google Transfer and Google Takeout
