⛓️‍πŸ’₯ When was the last time you checked for broken links in your course? Use the Link Validator tool from the course settings page to see an overview of all potentially broken links in your course.

πŸŽ₯ Assignment settings matter. Counter-intuitively, if you want students to submit a video, pick Text Entry instead of Media Recording for the best experience. See our Kaltura guides for more help setting up a video assignment.

πŸ€“ Course roles are changing later this week: 

  • Content Only is a new role who can only view your course content.
  • Peer Tutor is now Instr Student Asst, which has the ability to view the course and send messages to the entire class.
  • Grader is now Instr Student Asst (Grader) and can now view announcements, message the entire class, and message individual students.

No action is required. Anyone using the old roles will automatically be upgraded.
