Voicemail Greeting

Under Manage voicemail, you can:

  • Select Record a greeting to record your own message.
  • Choose a default language for your greeting.
  • Configure what happens when a call is redirected to your voicemail:
    • Let the caller record a message.
    • Let the caller leave a message or be transferred.
    • Play greeting and end the call.
    • Play greeting then transfer the call.
    • End call without playing greeting.
  • If you enable a transfer option, enter the name or number for redirection.

Set up text-to-speech customized greeting by typing your greeting in the text box. If you’ve recorded a greeting, it will override this setting.

Manage your out-of-office voicemail by selecting when you want your greeting to play. You can also type your custom out-of-office greeting in the text box.

Email Notifications

Once a caller leaves a voicemail message for you, it will send an email to the email address associated with the Teams account. This will include an attachment with an audio file, as well as a transcript, if available.

Note: If the email format looks suspicious or differs from the standard format, it may be spam or phishing.
