Instructors using McGraw Hill can deploy assignments directly to Canvas, allowing students to access their coursework and allowing grades to be managed centerally within Canvas. This guide explains how to deploy assignments from McGraw Hill to Canvas.
Prerequisites
- You must have a McGraw Hill Instructor account paired with Canvas.
- Your course in McGraw Hill must already be paired with your course in Canvas.
- The assignments must be created in McGraw Hill before deployment.
- You must have instructor-level access in both McGraw Hill and Canvas.
Step-by-Step Instructions
To deploy McGraw Hill assignments to Canvas, do the following:
- From course in Canvas, open McGraw Hill Connect. Navigate to your course in McGraw Hill
- In McGraw Hill, go to the Assignments tab.
- Select the assignments you want to deploy.
- Open the three dots menu at the top of the Assignments pane.
- Select Deploy to Canvas.
- Follow the on-screen options provided by McGraw Hill.
- Wait for the deployment process to complete.
Once the deployment finishes, the assignments will be available in Canvas.
Troubleshooting
- If the deployment takes longer than 5 minutes, contact McGraw Hill support for assistance.
- If assignments do not appear in Canvas, try refreshing the page or checking your Assignments section.
