MFP Printer Budget Access Management

1) Install the MFP-Printers Budget Access Management Console from software center

2) Click the budget access management console icon on your desktop to open the console

3) Find the budget you want to manage in the list and double click it.

4) In the window that appears, click the "Members" tab. Click "Add..." if you are attempting to add a new user to the budget, you will need to type in their username in the window that pops up to add them. If you are attempting to remove someone from the group highlight their name in the list and click 'Remove'. Don't forget to click "Apply" on this window in the bottom right before closing the window, or the changes you made will not be saved.

note: If the Add/Remove buttons are greyed out that indicates you do not have permission to make changes to the budget group you have selected. Double check that you have selected the right budget and if so, please submit a ticket to print support so that we can investigate.

5) Wait for the overnight sync to complete. This runs at 2AM every morning and will add users added to these groups into the printing system with access to the budgets you have added them to. If access is needed urgently please submit a ticket to ITSS and we can add them immediately.

note: you may also notice that your budget contains a group named like "dept-___". This is for cost center automation; dept- groups are managed automatically by account center and can be used to provision access to new users or remove old users as soon as HR processes their paperwork. If you are interested in having us set this up for your department please submit a ticket to print support
