How to Access an Unofficial Transcript

Written Instructions

1. Log in to your Student Center.
2. Select Student Records on the left side navigation menu.
3. Select Unofficial Transcripts.
4. To download a PDF version of your unofficial transcript, select View PDF in the top right corner of the screen.
5. To save your downloaded unofficial transcript, press Save in the top right corner.

Note: If you are unable to access the Unofficial Transcript in the Student Center, please call the Office of the Registrar at 530-898-5142.

Common Issues

-Not able to upload a protected PDF here is how:

1. Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat (Acrobat Reader does not have the necessary Security removal options).
2. Use the “Unlock” tool:
   Choose “Tools” > “Protect” > “Advanced Options” > “Remove Security.”
3. Optimize the PDF:
   To enable 1.4 version compatibility, go to "File" > "Save as Other" > "Optimized PDF..." > "Make compatible with: Acrobat 5.0 and later > OK > Save

    
4. Remove Security:
   The options vary depending on the type of password security attached to the document.
    
   • If the document has a Document Open password, click “OK” to remove it from the document.
      
   • If the document has a permissions password, type it in the “Enter Password” box, then click “OK.” Click “OK” once more to confirm the action.
