Requesting a Wildcat ID Card
Before a Wildcat ID Card can be issued, the Wildcat ID Card Office must receive an email from the contracting department. This email must include:
- Contractor/Vendor Name
- Company Name
- Role in Company
- Mobile Phone Number for Vendor
Vendors and contractors must be approved before a Wildcat ID Card can be printed.
Picking Up a Card
If a vendor or contractor hasn’t had a Wildcat ID Card before, they will be assigned an ID number during their visit.
Once approved as a vendor or contractor:
- Pay the $5.00 fee for the Wildcat ID Card. You will do this via our CashNet system. You must print your receipt and bring it to the Wildcat ID Card Office.
- Visit the Wildcat ID Card Office in Meriam Library 142 with the following:
- your printed receipt from CashNet
- a valid photo identification (e.g., state ID, driver’s license, or passport)
- Take your photo and receive your Wildcat ID Card. This process takes 5-10 minutes.
- If you would like to submit your own photo, please email the image to id-cards@csuchico.edu. Verify that the image matches the Photo Criteria listed below.
If your Wildcat ID Card requires door access, contact Facilities Management and Services to activate your card and ensure you receive access.
Wildcat ID Card Photo Criteria
If submitting your own photo, please make sure that it aligns with all requirements below:
Appropriate

Inappropriate

- Framing: No tilted heads, turned shoulders, or looking to the side.
- Attire: Remove hats, headphones, AirPods, sunglasses, scarves, lanyards, or face masks.
- Religious attire (e.g., hijabs, turbans, kippahs) is allowed.
- Composition: No cut-off foreheads, filters, Photoshop, or other edits.
- Other: No other people or pets in the image. Do not submit a photo or scan of another ID (e.g., driver’s license).
