Zoom and Microsoft presence synchronization allows your Zoom status to appear in Microsoft 365, and your Microsoft 365 presence to appear in Zoom. This can help other people see when you are available, busy, in a meeting, presenting, or on a call. For example, when you join a Zoom meeting, Zoom may show your status as In a Zoom Meeting, while Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 apps may show your status as In a Call.
This feature is useful for Chico State users who work across both Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
