Help with a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone

IT Support Services provides phone support, remote assistance, on-site technical support, and an on-campus full-service repair facility for campus-managed computers. ITSS can assist users in installing and configuring standard desktop applications such as Outlook, Office, or other standard campus applications on PCs and Macintosh computers, tablets, and smartphones, as well as troubleshooting hardware and software errors, and connectivity issues, and virus/malware removal.

Most campus PC and Macintosh desktop workstations are centrally managed and supported by IT Support Services. Chico State uses Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to manage Windows computers and Casper Suite (JAMF) to manage Macintosh computers. All State and Foundation owned computers are required to be enrolled in the appropriate management system.
