Electronic devices storing data must have the data removed by IT Support Services prior to being disposed of or transferred to another individual. This includes:
- Desktop/laptop computers
- Servers
- Tablets (iPads, iPods, Android tablets, Microsoft Surface, etc.)
- Printers/Copiers
- Disk drives and USB flash drives
- Cell phones and PDAs
- Electronic media, including CD-ROMs, backup tapes, and other removable storage
