This form is for faculty and staff only. Students should submit a request for a Student Long-Term Laptop Loan through the Center for Technology Equity.
Loan Eligibility
Short-term laptop loans for faculty and staff are available for temporary work needs, including:
- An active computer purchase order
- An active repair with IT Support Services
- Work-related events or travel lasting up to one month
If your request is related to a purchase or repair, be sure to include the associated ticket number in your request.
Loaner laptops are intended for temporary use only and must be returned as soon as they are no longer needed.
Purchasing a Computer
If you require a computer for ongoing or regular use, you must purchase one.
To purchase a computer, please review our Desktop and Laptop Standards, then submit a ticket to Purchase Computers, Tablets, or Accessories.
Shipping Information
If a laptop needs to be shipped to you, include the following information when you submit your request:
- Full name
- Shipping address
- Phone number
- Department chartfield string for shipping charges
If a loaner laptop is shipped to you, keep the box and packaging so you can return the laptop.
