Step 1. Check the relationships of the page
The relationship lets you know other internal links in Cascade that are linking to that page. If you have access to the page linking to the file change the link, but if you do not have access to the file the audits can be checked to find the maintainers so a notification can be sent to change the link to avoid a broken link.
Step 2. Change the link that is being referenced in the relationships
Step 3. Delete the page
All deleted pages go to the Trash bin where they can be retrieved if needed.
Step 4. Request Google to remove the broken link from the search index
