Creating Guest Access Accounts

Guest Access Accounts (formerly Parent Portal) can be created by active Chico State students to grant access to their parents or guardians to view their Student Center. Students can create this account by navigating to their Student Center, going to the Student Records tab, and selecting "Manage Guests". The student will enter their parent's personal email address when they create the account, as well as their name and what they want their parent to have access to 

These accounts do take roughly 24 hours to generate, so the parent should receive an email when their account is ready letting them know how to access the account. The parent account name will have its own ID number and username that is different from the student's information. The parent's username will be: Student'sUsername_ParentFirstName. Their ID number will be randomly generated by Account Center.
