Managing Browser Bookmarks

Note: This article only covers Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. If your browser is not listed, we recommend looking up the steps for your specific browser. 

Google Chrome

Note: Chrome hides the Bookmarks Bar by default unless you are in a new tab. To display the Bookmarks Bar in all tabs, please turn it on:

  1. Click the three dots in the top right corner and go down to Settings
  2. Select Appearance on the left. 
  3. Toggle on Show bookmarks bar.

Adding Bookmarks

  1. Navigate to the web page you would like to bookmark. 
  2. Click the Star icon  in the address bar.
  3. In the "Bookmark Added" pop-up, adjust the name and folder location of your new bookmark.
  4. It is recommended to set the Folder to Bookmarks Bar rather than All Bookmarks.

Editing and Deleting Bookmarks

  1. Right-click on the Bookmark you want to edit or delete.
  2. Select Delete to remove the bookmark completely. 
  3. Select Edit to bring up the menu that will allow you to change the name or location of your bookmark.

Mozilla Firefox

Note: Firefox hides the Bookmarks Bar by default unless you are in a new tab. To display the Bookmarks Bar in all tabs, please turn it on:

  1. Open a new tab so that the bookmarks bar appears. Right-click the Bookmarks Bar.
  2.  Hover over Bookmarks Toolbar and click Always Show.

  2. Click the Star icon  in the address bar.
  3. In the "Add Bookmark" pop-up, adjust the name and folder location of your new bookmark.
  4. It is recommended to set the Folder to Bookmarks Toolbar.

  1. Open a new tab so that the favorites bar appears. Right-click the Favorites Bar.
  2.  Hover over Show Favorites Bar and click Always.

  3. In the "Favorite Added" pop-up, adjust the name and folder location of your new bookmark.
