The Chico State telephone system accommodates more than 6,000 lines serving the main campus and various off-site locations. The system provides analog and digital lines along with a wide range of business telephone services including local, long distance, and international outbound calling, inbound calls direct to stations, and programmable phones and features.
Users may request a new phone line with a single or multi-line set, or a specialty line such as a fax line or main number for a department or group (virtual line).
Departments are charged for installation, equipment, and ongoing monthly services. The requestor will be asked to provide billing authorization prior to work being performed. Costs vary depending on the service and equipment requested. See current fees here.
Installations in previously unserved locations may incur additional costs.
