INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS EXEMPTION REQUEST for CONTRACTED SERVICES

Chico State Enterprises (CSE) is authorized to issue subawards and procure services on behalf of Chico State, its Centers, and PIs. California State University Insurance Requirements policy #16708473 was put into effect by the Chancellor’s Office as of October 7, 2024. The Insurance Requirements Policy set minimum coverage levels applicable to subrecipients and vendors/contractors/consultants. In order to accept insurance coverage below these minimum levels, certain factors must be considered to determine what risks and subsequent losses could arise from the contract services to be provided.

When a subrecipient or vendor/contractor/consultant requests that CSE accept its insurance coverage below the minimum levels set by the Insurance Requirement Policy, please complete and submit this ticket for review and upload the requested documentation.
