YourWeb and Chico State Web Hosting are very similar in that they offer one-click WordPress installs and flexibility for the look of your website.
- Use YourWeb if: You will be the sole person responsible for your website.
- Use Chico State Web Hosting if: The management of your site will be tied to a department or group, not a single individual.

Free to registered full-time and part-time students, faculty, and staff as well as current lecturers.

Departments and offices within the campus community. The site needs to be owned by a full-time sponsor, not a student.

How long can I keep it?
You will lose your YourWeb account once you graduate, retire, or are otherwise separated from the University. Users can take their content with them by downloading their files when separating from the University.

How long can I keep it?
As long as the $47.85 annual fee is paid yearly. No payment, the site will be archived. Departments can take their content and host it in another service if they no longer want Chico State to host it.

How can I get an account?
Sites have a yearly fee for web hosting. If you'd like to have a custom domain name you’ll need to buy one from a third-party service. This cost is an extra cost from our yearly fee.

How much does it cost?
The yearly fee of $47.85 covers the cost of:
- Web hosting
- Initial configuration
- Branding/Accessibility audit
All other support will be charged at an hourly rate of $57.45 state & $84.64 aux.
