Overview
This article explains how to connect a custom domain purchased from a third-party provider to your YourWeb website, including how to configure DNS records and name servers.
Purchase a Domain
You will need to purchase a custom domain from a third-party registrar. Some recommended providers include:
Add Domain to Your YourWeb Account
- Log in to your YourWeb account.
- Navigate to the Domains tab in cPanel.
- Click Domains to manage your domain settings.
- In the Domains settings, click Create a New Domain.
- Enter the domain name you purchased.
- Click Submit to save your changes.

Update DNS Settings with Your Domain Provider
- Log in to your domain registrar’s DNS Manager.
- Remove all default DNS records listed.
- Create a new A Record with the following values:
- Hostname: www
- IPv4 Address: (Use your YourWeb shared IP address from the Dashboard)
- TTL: 7207
- Update Name Servers to point to YourWeb:
- NameServer 1: ns1.reclaimhosting.com
- NameServer 2: ns2.reclaimhosting.com
- Save all changes.
Note: It can take up to 24 hours for your domain to point to your YourWeb site.
