Requirements
System Requirements
- Device Storage: 20 MB available space
- Supported Devices: iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
- Operating System: iOS 13 or later
- Apple ID: Must be signed in to an active Apple account
Account Requirements
- Current faculty and staff meet access requirements by default.
- Volunteers and consultants must have department-sponsored access approved by completing the Volunteer, Guest, and Consultant Access form .
- Students can access OnDemand VPN:
Installing GlobalProtect VPN
- Open the App Store on your iOS device.
- Search for GlobalProtect.
- Install the app published by Palo Alto Networks.
- Confirm installation using Face ID, Touch ID, passcode, or Apple ID password.
Configuring GlobalProtect VPN
- Open the GlobalProtect app.
- When prompted for a portal address, enter:
- ao-vpn.csuchico.edu for campus-managed iOS devices
- vpn.csuchico.edu for personal iOS devices
- When prompted to add VPN configurations, select Allow.
- Sign in using your Chico State username and password.
- Approve the login request using Duo.
Uninstalling GlobalProtect
- Tap and hold the GlobalProtect app icon.
- Select Remove App.
- Select Delete App to confirm removal.
