Active Chico State students are automatically provisioned a license for PowerBI. The PowerBI license allows students to use a free web-based version of the application.
Active Faculty and Staff can request access to the free PowerBI license, or submit a request for the paid version of PowerBI by filling out a service request here: https://support.csuchico.edu/TDClient/1984/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=8034
Accessing PowerBI
First, navigate to your Outlook inbox on the web: http://outlook.com/csuchico.edu
In the left-hand corner, click on the nine-dot grid to open the sidebar menu. Click on "All Apps"
From here, you can either scroll the list or use the "Search all of your apps" bar at the top to find PowerBI.
Once you've found it, click to open the program. You should already be signed in, but if it does prompt you to, simply sign in with your Chico State email address and password.
