Important: Confirm with your department that your extension and account are ready for Avaya Workplace before installing the software.
Install Avaya Workplace on Windows PC
Software Center (Windows)
- In the Windows taskbar search field, type Software Center.
- Open Software Center.
- If you do not see Software Center, look for Company Portal instead.
- Select the Applications tab.
- Locate and select Avaya Workplace.
- Select Install and wait for the installation to complete.
- Restart your device if prompted.
Company Portal (Windows)
- In the Windows taskbar search field, type Company Portal.
- Open the Company Portal application.
- Select Apps.
- Locate and select Avaya Workplace.
- Select Install.
- Wait for the installation to complete, then restart your device if prompted.
Install Avaya Workplace on Mac
Self Service (Mac)
- Open Self Service.
- Search for Avaya Workplace or browse the available applications.
- Select Avaya Workplace.
- Select Install.
- Wait while the status shows Executing.
- Installation is complete when the Install button changes to Uninstall.
Configure Avaya Workplace
After installation, restart your device, then open the Avaya Workplace app.
- Select Configure my account.
- Enter your full Chico State email address.
- Select Next and complete the login process.
- A tutorial will launch the first time you log in.
- You can now use Avaya Workplace for calls and voicemail.
Uninstall Avaya Workplace
Software Center (Windows)
- Open Software Center.
- Select Installation Status.
- Select Avaya Workplace.
- Select Uninstall.
Company Portal (Windows)
- Open the Start menu.
- Open the Avaya folder.
- Select Uninstall Avaya Workplace.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
If prompted for administrator credentials, close the window and contact IT Support Services for assistance.
Finder (Mac)
- Open Finder.
- Select Applications.
- Locate Avaya Workplace.
- Right-click the application and select Move to Trash.
