TeamDynamix Service Description Glossary
This glossary defines common fields and attributes of Services in TeamDynamix.
	
		
			| Term | 
			Definition | 
		
	
	
		
			| Name | 
			The name of the Service being offered | 
		
		
			| Category | 
			Indicates what service category will contain this service. If blank, the service appears in the root of the catalog | 
		
		
			| Short Description | 
			Displayed in the catalog; plain text up to 1000 characters. Used as the long description if none is set | 
		
		
			| Long Description | 
			Displayed on the service details page. Can include HTML | 
		
		
			| Manager | 
			Individual or group primarily responsible for maintaining the service. Only the manager (or those with Manage all services) can update properties | 
		
		
			| Request Application & Ticket Type | 
			Defines the application and ticket type linked to this service | 
		
		
			| Request Service Text | 
			Label for the Request Service button. Defaults to “Request Service” if not specified |
