Name
The name of the Service being offered.
Category
The Category indicates what service category will contain this service. If the Category field is blank, the service will be in the root of the catalog.
Short Description
The Short Description is displayed in the service catalog for each service. This should be plain text, but newlines and URLs will be preserved. In addition, if a long description has not been provided, but a short description is still set, it will be used as a substitute for the long description when viewing this specific service. Short Description can be up to 1000 characters long.
Long Description
The Long Description is displayed when viewing this specific service. This can include HTML.
Manager
The Manager of the service is the individual or group who is primarily responsible for maintaining and updating this service as appropriate. Only the manager of a service or an individual with the "Manage all services" permission can change the properties of a service.
Request Application & Ticket Type
The Manager of the service is the individual or group who is primarily responsible for maintaining and updating this service as appropriate. Only the manager of a service or an individual with the "Manage all services" permission can change the properties of a service.
Request Service Text
This is the text that is displayed on the "Request Service" button on the service details page when a user wants to request the service. This is only applicable if the service can be requested. If not specified, this will default to "Request Service"
