TeamDynamix Service Description Glossary

This glossary defines common fields and attributes of Services in TeamDynamix.

Term Definition
Name The name of the Service being offered
Category Indicates what service category will contain this service. If blank, the service appears in the root of the catalog
Short Description Displayed in the catalog; plain text up to 1000 characters. Used as the long description if none is set
Long Description Displayed on the service details page. Can include HTML
Manager Individual or group primarily responsible for maintaining the service. Only the manager (or those with Manage all services) can update properties
Request Application & Ticket Type Defines the application and ticket type linked to this service
Request Service Text Label for the Request Service button. Defaults to “Request Service” if not specified
