How to set call forwarding

Call Forwarding from the Handset:

Turning on Call Forwarding

If you need to have calls routed to another extension, pick up the line you would like to have calls forwarded from and dial *72.  You should hear a dial tone and then enter the desired 4-digit extension where you would like the calls to go. You should then hear three beeps to let you know it's programmed. 

Turning off Call Forwarding

To turn off call forwarding dial #72 from the extension you would like the calls to return to.

 

Call Forwarding from the Avaya Workplace Application:

Turning on Call Forwarding

In the upper left corner of the application, click your initials or profile picture (if applicable). Under "Incoming Call Features" select "Call Forward".

Then enter the 4-digit extension where you would like calls to be forwarded to.

Turning off Call Forwarding

To turn off call forwarding in the Avaya Workplace application, follow the same process as turning it on. Click your initials or profile picture again in the upper left corner and select "Call Forwarding" from the drop-down menu under "Incoming Call Features". Call forwarding has now been turned off.
