Managing Project Tasks in the My Work Application
The My Work application provides a centralized way to manage all assignments in TeamDynamix, including tickets, ticket tasks, and project tasks.
To access the My Work application:
- Select the View Applications button in the top left corner of TeamDynamix.
- Select My Work.

When a project task is assigned to you, it appears in My Assignments. You can move tasks you are actively working on into your My Work list by selecting Add to My Work on the task.

Viewing Project Plans
You can view full project plans and assigned project tasks directly within a project. Once added as a project resource, you can view plans, create tasks, and modify existing tasks.
To modify all aspects of a project plan, such as creating card wall lanes or adding waterfall tasks, you must be added as an Alternate Manager.
To access project plans:
- Open the Projects/Workspaces application.
- Select the desired project from the left-hand navigation.
- Select Plans to view the list of project plans.
Updating Project Tasks
You can update tasks from My Work or from within a project plan.
- Select the task title.
- Select Actions, then Update.
- Update the task status, percent complete, or add comments.
- Select Save to apply your changes.
Waterfall and Card Wall Project Plans
Card Wall Plans
Card wall plans are listed as type Card Wall in the project plans list.
- Select the card wall plan name to open it.
- Select the pencil icon next to the task you want to update.
- Make your changes and select Save.
Waterfall Plans
Waterfall plans are listed as type Waterfall in the project plans list and support both list and Gantt views.
- Select the waterfall plan name to open it.
- Right-click the task you want to update.
- Select Update and make your changes.
