Adding Portlets

The Campus Portal allows for customization of the My Portal tab. You can add and remove content (Portlets) that are relevant to your interests and needs on campus. To add a Portlet, first log into portal.csuchico.edu and choose the Customize tab as shown below.

After you have chosen the Customize tab, scroll down to the Portlet Marketplace section and find a Portlet you'd like to add to your Portal and choose the Details link to the right of the Portlet Description.

Second portlet on the Customize tab is the Portlet Marketplace, choose the Details option on the right side of a portlet you wish to add.

On the Details page, select the Options in the top right corner. A drop down menu will appear and you can choose to Add to My Portal.

After you've added your chosen Portlet, there will be no confirmation, but you can view your changes by switching to the My Portal tab. If you wish to add more than one Portlet, you can instead choose the "Back to list" button on the top left corner of the Portlet Marketplace to view the full list of available Portlets.
