Request Service

Check Status of Existing Ticket

You'll be asked to log into your campus account before you can view or create a new ticket.

Requesting Services and Help Online

You can easily request services and help online, using the Chico State IT Support website.

Browsing Services

  1. Click on the "Services" tab above, or the large red "Request Service" button below "Live Chat"
  2. Browse through the service categories until you find the service you want
  3. If the service is requestable online, click on the "Request Service" button and fill out the form to request service or help. Your request will be immediately routed to the appropriate technicians.

Searching for Services

  1. Click on the "Services" tab, above
  2. Click on the "Search" tab in the secondary navigation bar
  3. Enter what you are looking for in the Search field and press Enter
  4. Click on the service you want
  5. If the service is requestable online, click on the "Request Service" button and fill out the form to request service or help. Your request will be immediately routed to the appropriate technicians.

You can also use the general search bar at the top-right corner of the page, but that will include search results for the knowledge base as well as services.

Helpful Hint: Use the dropdown to filter your search:

The campus SPSS license has been renewed and the software will continue to be available to faculty, students, and labs. This includes campus-managed and personal devices. Software Center, Wildcat Lab, and the Knowledge Base article for personal device installations have been updated with the new license codes that are active until 7/31/2023.

ITSS has headsets, document cameras, and web cams available for employees. Supply is limited and can be requested in the Service Catalog. Once requested ITSS will follow up to arrange a pickup time in MLIB 142.

Adobe Creative Cloud is available to all Chico State employees and students. This suite of software includes Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, Stock, and more. You can request access to Adobe Creative Cloud in the Service Catalog. The email migration of campus Gmail accounts to Office365 is temporarily postponed. Once the new date is set, we will communicate the details to the campus community. Until further notice, no action is required and campus email accounts will remain unchanged. Updates about the migration will be added to the Wildcat Mail Migration website.

ITSS will be providing a much larger catalog of software updates to campus PCs beginning in the coming weeks. Improving and expanding software updates will reduce the risk unpatched software represents to campus systems.
