Start a chat with Zoom users in the desktop client.

Prerequisites

Step-by-Step Instructions

To start a chat with another user:

Open Zoom:

  1. Clock on the Team Chat tab on the left and then on blue + button - "Message".

  2. On the screen above enter in the full email address of the other user, add your message and hit blue arrow icon to send.

  3. On the screen above click on the blue "Send" button.

  4.  
  5. On the screen above click the blue "Start Chat" button.

 

Troubleshooting

 

If your browser does not respond after choosing "Open in Zoom," please clear your browser cookies and cache.
