Check Reports-To Setup
If employees are missing from your Manager Dashboard in CSULearn, first verify that reports-to assignments are configured correctly.
- Review the How to change the “reports to” documentation.
- Contact your department’s reports-to maintainer if updates are needed.
- Ask your reports-to maintainer to run the Reports-To Listing Report in Insight to confirm the setup is correct.
Employees With Multiple Jobs
CSULearn has a known limitation for employees who work in more than one position.
Examples include:
- Student employees with multiple campus jobs
- Staff who also teach classes
- Faculty serving as special consultants
- Employees working in multiple departments
CSULearn can only process reports-to information for one position per employee. A CSU backend process determines which manager can view the employee’s assigned learning.
This process is managed centrally by the CSU Chancellor’s Office and cannot be manually changed by campus administrators.
