Separations for TeamDynamix Accounts

When a user separates, we convert them to a customer so that they are still active and we can create tickets for them in the future if needed.  These are the steps to follow:

  1. Log into Account Center and TDAdmin.
  2. Copy username from TDx Account Separation ticket.
  3. Paste username in search field under TDAdmin > Users & Roles > Users.
  4. If there is more than one account for the same person, use "Merge People* to consolidate before proceeding (*you may need to search with first name and last name).
  5. If the user type is already "Customer", look in Account Center for the account that has an Organizational ID (usually the oldest account created around midnight).
  6. If the user type is "User", click on Actions > Convert To Customer, then repeat Step 5 above.
  7. Mark the "Account Separation Process ~ TDx" task complete on the ticket.
