When a user separates, we convert them to a customer so that they are still active and we can create tickets for them in the future if needed. These are the steps to follow:
- Log into Account Center and TDAdmin.
- Copy username from TDx Account Separation ticket.
- Paste username in search field under TDAdmin > Users & Roles > Users.
- If there is more than one account for the same person, use "Merge People* to consolidate before proceeding (*you may need to search with first name and last name).
- If the user type is already "Customer", look in Account Center for the account that has an Organizational ID (usually the oldest account created around midnight).
- If the user type is "User", click on Actions > Convert To Customer, then repeat Step 5 above.
- Mark the "Account Separation Process ~ TDx" task complete on the ticket.
