Microsoft Bookings makes scheduling and managing appointments a breeze. Bookings include a web-based booking calendar that integrates with Outlook to optimize your staff’s calendar and give your customers the flexibility to book a time that works best for them. With built-in flexibility and the ability to customize, Bookings can be designed to fit the situation and needs of many different parts of an organization.

Bookings is also available as an app within Teams, which allows you to create Bookings calendars, assign staff, and both schedule new and manage existing appointments without ever leaving Teams.

Before you begin

Microsoft Bookings is available for Chico State employees with the Microsoft Office A3 license. By default, most campus employees have an A3 license.

If you are a Chico State retiree, work with Associated Students (AS), or Chico State Enterprises (CSE), you have an Office A1 license. To upgrade to A3, request access here:

Access Bookings for the first time

The first time you use Bookings you'll create a calendar and set up your business.

  1. Select Get started, enter your business name, business type, business hours, and even add a logo. Click Next.

  2. Optionally, invite other staff members to your calendar. Set your services, then "Create calendar"

You're now ready to use Bookings for your organization.
