Portal Overview

The Chico State Portal is the central hub for students, faculty, and staff, providing essential access to a wide range of online services, including:

  • Canvas
  • Microsoft 365 (Campus Email) 
  • Google Drive
  • Account Center (password and account management)
  • Student Center (enrollment and financial information)
  • Canvas and CSULearn (campus training)
  • Campus Announcements and Chico State Alerts

If you have not yet claimed your account, you can follow the instructions on our Knowledge Base for Claiming Your Chico State Student Account. If you have already claimed your account and cannot sign in, please follow the instructions for Resetting Your Chico State Password (Portal Password).

Removing Portlets

  1. Navigate to the Chico State Portal and sign in. 
  2. Locate the Portlet you want to move and click Options.
  3. Click Remove and a confirmation message should appear. Click OK

  4. You may need to log out and back into the Portal to view the changes. 
  5. Repeat this process as needed to organize your Chico State Portal.
