View Archived Web Pages
If a page appears to be missing information after a new website launch, there are two ways to review older versions of Chico State web pages.
Choose the option that best fits your situation:
- Use the Meriam Library archives if you need a long-term, publicly accessible version of a past website.
- Use Cascade if you previously had access and need to review a recently unpublished version (within about six months of a site launch).
Use the Meriam Library Archives
The Meriam Library website archives provide a long-term way to view older versions of Chico State web pages. This is a helpful option when you need to confirm whether content existed on a previous version of a site.
For best results, search using this format:
www.csuchico.edu/art
- Do not include https:// in your search.
View Unpublished Cascade Websites
Old websites are typically not deleted from Cascade until about two months after a new site launches. During that time, users with access may still be able to view the old site in Cascade.
If you previously maintained the site in Cascade, you may still be able to log in and review the unpublished version during that period.
- Right-click a page in Cascade and select Versions to see when it was last updated.
