Installing & Navigating Software
Before proceeding, note that you must be in the Key Operators group to be able to see the MFP-Printers Budget Access Management Console in Software Center.
- Install the MFP-Printers Budget Access Management Console from Software Center
- Click the Budget Access Management Console icon on your desktop to open the console
- Find the budget you want to manage in the list and double-click it to view
Adding Users & Removing to Budge Management List
- In the window that appears, click the Members tab
- If adding someone, click Add... then type their username
- If removing someone, click their name in the list then Remove
- Don't forget to click Apply in the bottom right before closing the window, or the changes you made will not be saved
Note: If the Add/Remove buttons are greyed out that indicates you do not have permission to make changes to the budget group you have selected. Double-check that you have selected the right budget and if so, please submit a ticket to print support so that we can investigate.
After Adding & Removing Users
After adding or removing, you will need to wait for the overnight sync to complete. This runs at 2 AM every morning and will add users added to these groups into the printing system with access to the budgets you have added them to.
Note: You may also notice that your budget contains a group named "dept-___". This is for Cost Center automation; dept- groups are managed automatically by Account Center and can be used to provision access to new users or remove old users using the status of the job data row in PeopleSoft.
