Overview

CatPrints Student Printing leverages ePRINTit for printing from personal devices. Options for utilizing the ePRINTit SaaS Application include logging into the website, or using a mobile application. This guide provides instructions for downloading and configuring the mobile application.

iOS Installation

  1. Navigate to the iOS Appstore and Download the ePRINTit SaaS Application

  2. Once installed open your app and proceed to the Setup and Usage instructions below.

Android Installation

  1. Navigate to the Google Play Store and Install the ePRINTit SaaS App.

Setup and Usage

  1. Accept Terms and Conditions

     
  2. For the location services permission select "While using this app" or "Only This Time". 
    • iOS users may not get this promt here, but rather when adding the location later in this guide. Regardless the options are the same.

  1. Tap on the "Location" button.

  2. Select "Chico" for the location choice.

  3. You app's home screen should now look like the one below.

  4. Next tap on the 3 lines in the upper left to open a collapsed set of options.

  5.  In this menu tap on "Add/Edit Accounts".

  6.  Tap on the "Add Account" button.

  7. Enter the required information for your account.  
    • For the Account put your CSU Chico Email.
    • For the Description add whatever you wish.

  • For the "Identity Provider" option select "Catprints" from the drop down list.

  • Tap the "Set as Default" option to ensure your account is set as the default account. 
  • Tap "Login" to log into Catprints via your Chico State Microsoft account..

  1. You should now see your account listed under the added accounts. Return to the app's Home Screen to begin printing.

  2. Select from any of the following sources to print

  3. Once you have your file selected tap on the "Print with YourUsername@csuchico.edu" option to make sure the print job is associated with your account.

  4. Tap on the "Submit" button to submit your print job.

  5. Your print job is now submitted, please allow a few minutes for it to process and make it to the queue. If you do not see it after ~5 minutes please try again or contact ITSS to troubleshoot the issue.  
  6.  Go to any CatPRINTS kiosk, sign in, and pay to release the job for printing.
     

FAQ

Q: Why can't I print with Box, Onedrive, etc after initial sign in
A: The ePRINTit service is designed for upload of a file to the web or apllication for printing and is not designed for direct printing from a different application. Direct printing is avaliable for Library and Lab computers.
Q: How do I delete a print job? 
A: Tap the red recycling can at the top right of the print job.
