Access & Sharing

Sharing Settings

Controls how users can share content within and outside the workspace.

  • Default Chico State Setting: Workspace Members Only
    • Only Chico State users can view shared links.
    • Helps protect internal data from being accessed externally.
    • Prevents accidental sharing of sensitive or private information.
  • Alternative settings:
    • No One: Disables all sharing entirely.

GPT Customization & Sharing

Controls how GPTs created by users in the workspace can be shared.

  • Default Chico State Setting: Workspace Members Only
    • Limits access to users within the Chico State environment.
    • Helps ensure that internal tools remain private and secure.
  • Alternative settings:
    • Invite Only: Share with specific Chico State users (e.g., a project team).
    • Anyone at Chico State with the Link: GPT is accessible by anyone with the direct link.
    • Chico State (Discoverable): GPT is searchable in the “Explore GPTs” section.

GPT Actions & Domain Permissions

Manages whether GPTs can access external APIs or domains.

  • Default Chico State Setting: External access is not allowed
    • Prevents GPTs from interacting with unknown or untrusted domains.

  • Alternative settings:
    • Submit a support ticket to request access to a specific domain.

User Privacy & Data

Memory Settings

Allows ChatGPT to remember details across conversations for personalization.
