Basic Course Template
Chico State provides a very basic template for spring 2025 courses that includes a customizable Home page and links to Chico State support resources.
Comprehensive Template
This template is a more fully developed and comprehensive version of the Chico State template. In it, you'll find a "Get Started" module for students along with example assignments, discussions, quizzes, and more. This template would work well for an online asynchronous or synchronous course as well as in-person or hybrid courses that heavily leverage Canvas tools.
Troubleshooting
- Preview vs. Actual Format: If the template's format in the preview looks different from what you expected, proceed with importing it to your course to see the actual layout and functionality.
